BioI am one of those strange Britons who like to venture outside their own culture and think learning French is fun. I am a quiet, stubborn and occasionally cynical person whose mind is more often than not wandering somewhere into far-off lands where the bounds of reality crumble into insignificance and the imagination runs free...Although I usually fall back to earth in time for the important things in life such as football and shopping. My carefully constructed ambitions in life include becoming A) the first woman to manage Southampton FC and/or the England football team, B) a world-championship winning formula one driver, C) a world-renowned flautist, D) a brilliant but reclusive writer living in a castle on the Rhine or E) queen of a small island nation. Meanwhile, in the likely event of reality slapping me in the face before any of the above can begin to be achieved, I continue living the extraordinarily ordinary life of a wandering translator, bouncing around in the post-Master degree pre-Real Life limbo until someone offers me a job.
